Chief Secretary chairs 40th APCC of SIDCO

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 11: Chief Secretary, B R Sharma Thursday chaired the 40thmeeting of the Apex Project Clearance Committee (APCC) of SIDCO.
The Apex Committee after due deliberations cleared various proposals received by SIDCO for setting up new industrial units.
While reviewing the status of various industrial centers in the State, Chief Secretary underscored the need to establish standard norms for optimum utilization of available land at various Industrial centres. He said acreage should be optimised to encourage unit holders to use advanced technology to enhance capacity of their units while utilizing minimum possible land.
Chief Secretary also asked SIDCO to ensure that no encroachment of land takes place in any Industrial centre and these be clearly demarcated.
Financial Commissioner, Planning & Development, B B Vyas, Administrative Secretaries of PDD, Finance, I&C, Agriculture Production and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
