CEC Kargil Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon called on Delegation from Thila Village

Kargil, August 11: A delegation from Thila village of Barsoo Block today met Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, and submitted a representation seeking the construction of a link road from Thila to Thila Brok, as per the demand of the villagers of Thila.

The delegation requested that the road be constructed through the location shown by the villagers of Thila in Barsoo Block, to address local needs and ensure better connectivity. Responding to the appeal, Dr. Akhoon directed the Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division Kargil, Mansoor Mohd Nissar, to take necessary steps for the construction of the road at the location indicated by the villagers under the scheme.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Engineer and Junior Engineer, PMGSY, along with members of the public delegation.

Dr. Akhoon reiterated that public welfare and improved connectivity to remote areas remain a top priority for the LAHDC Kargil, and assured that all genuine public demands will be addressed in a timely manner. The public expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Hon’ble CEC for his interest in the matter and for taking prompt action on their request.
