CCIK Holds Press Conference In Srinagar On Various Issues

The associated chamber of commerce and industries Kashmir (CCIK) held its Executive committee meeting in Srinagar which was followed by an emergency press conference. Various issues were discussed in the EC meeting. The members requested Honourable LG to announce a special power amnesty scheme both for domestic as well as commercial consumers so that the common people get relief.

The members appreciated CMD J&K Bank Mr Baldev Prakash for OTS scheme for NPA accounts which gave relief to the business community. The members further suggested that repayment time for OTS should be extended for 15 months so that everyone can avail this scheme.
CCIK members hailed CS Dr Arun Kumar Mehta for bringing In online services to Jk UT. CCIK also thanked Mr Atul Duloo for lifting the ban on import of Cattle and livestock .

In a press conference CCIK requested Honble LG Mr Manoj Sinha for Extending lease of land in j&k with the genuine premium .CCIK requested Honble LG that hotels are the major source of employment generation and bread and butter for the stakeholders CCIK said that relaxation should be given to common man .CCIK expects that justice will be done to People of J&K particularly the business community who has been suffering losses for three decades.

CCIK said that we are hopeful that honourable PM Shri Narender Modi and honourable HM Shri Amit Shah will consider the financial suffering of local people from the past 3 decades and issue an order in favour of the business community and common people.

CCIK said we have high hopes with GOI to do justice with the people of j&k and handholding for business community. CCIK thanked both print and electronic media for their presence.
