Cabinet recommends enhanced package of incentives for funding to GOI

SRINAGAR:- The State Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Omar Abdullah here today recommended the proposal for enhancement of package of incentives for funding to Government of India under Prime Ministers Package for the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Migrants. Further the Revenue Department was asked to work out an employment package for such of the members of the minority community who did not migrate from the valley. The Cabinet approved the extension of present Chairman Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPPE) for the period of 2 months from June 17, 2012. It also approved the appointment Prof. R. D. Sharma Dean Academics Jammu University as Chairman BOPPE. Immediately Prof. Sharma will work as OSD in BOPPE and on the expiry of two months term of Prof. Mushtaq, he shall take over as Chairman of BOPEE. The Cabinet confirmed the posting of Abdul Qayoum Manhas IPS as Inspector General of Police Railways. The Cabinet also accorded the confirmation to the promotion of Mr. Showkat Ali Mir Joint Director Fisheries as Director Fisheries.
