JAMMU: The Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved the following transfers and postings in administration.Â
1.Ms. Sonali Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Coordination), J&K Government, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi. The post of Principal Resident Commissioner has been declared equivalent in rank and status to that of Financial Commissioner, till it is held by Ms. Sonali Kumar. She shall, however, assume the charge of the post when Mr. R.K. Goyal, IAS, joins the Government of India on 22.04.2013.
2.Mr. Bashir Ahmad Runiyal, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, relieving the Principal Secretary, Higher Education, of the additional charge of the Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal.
3.Mr. Vinod Kaul, IAS, Secretary, ARI & Trainings Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Revenue Department, vice Mr. B.A. Runiyal.
4.Mr. G.H. Tantray, IAS, Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, ARI & Trainings Department, vice Mr. Vinod Kaul.
5.Ms. Sarita Chauhan, IAS, VC, Jammu Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as MD, J&K Handloom Development Corporation, against an available vacancy.
6.Ms. Farhat Tasneem, Special Secretary, Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, vice Mr. G.H. Tantray.
7.Mr. Satish Nehru, IAS, Managing Director, JKTDC, has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, vice Ms. Sarita Chauhan.
8.Mr. Mohammad Shafi Rather, IAS, Director, School Education, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority, relieving DC Srinagar of the additional charge.
9.Ms. Nirmal Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, has been transferred and shall await commencement of the Mid-Career Training Programme in the GAD.
10.Mr. Parvez Malik, IAS, Special Secretary, Planning & Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Command Area Development Department, Jammu. He shall, however, assume the charge of the post on the retirement on superannuation of the incumbent on 30-04-2013 (AN).
11.Mr. Shafat Noor Barlas, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, vice Mr. Shamim Laherwal.
12.Mr. Shamim Laherwal, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, has been transferred and shall await orders of posting in the General Administration Department.
13.Mr. M. Raju, IAS, under orders of posting as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Rural Development Department.
14.Mr. Saugat Biswas, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, PHE, Irrigation & FC Department.
15.Mr. R.K. Verma, KAS, Director, SSA has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba, vice Mr. Mubarak Singh.

19.Ms. Manesha Devi Sharma, KAS, Member, Services Selection Board, has been transferred and posted as Director, Stationery and Office Supplies, vice Mr. Peerzada Hafizullah Shah.
20.Mr. Mubarak Singh, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Doda, vice Mr. Farooq Ahmad Khan.
21.Mr. Jaipal Singh, KAS, awaiting orders of posting in the GAD, has been posted as Director, Technical Education, J&K, relieving Director, RMSA, of the additional charge.
22.Mr. Showkat Ahmad Zargar, KAS, Special Secretary, PHE, Irrigation & FC, has been transferred and posted as Director, Libraries, J&K, vice Mr. Arun Kumar Sharma.
23.Mr. Faqir Chand Bhagat, KAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Vice Mr. S. Biswas.

34.Ms. Rukhsana Gani, KAS, Addl. District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Member, Services Selection Board, vice Ms. Salma Hameed.
35.Dr. Ashok Kumar, Member, Services Selection Board, has been repatriated to his parent department with immediate effect.
36.Mr. Mir Tariq Ali, KAS, Addl. District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Director, School Education, Kashmir, vice Mr. Mohammad Shafi Rather.
37.Mr. Tufail Mattoo, Director, Rural Sanitation, J&K, has been transferred and posted as MD, J&K Cable Car Corporation, relieving Director, Tourism, Kashmir, of the additional charge.
38.Mr. Shamim Ahmad Wani, I/c General Manager, JKTDC, shall hold the charge of the post of MD, JKTDC, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
