Cabinet approved creation of 220posts in Higher Education

JAMMU: The Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah approved creation of 220 posts both teaching and non teaching for 11 model colleges under “Establishment of Model Colleges in Educationally Backward Districts Scheme”.
The Cabinet also approved two and half day pay and DA in favour of various categories of employees of Hospitality & Protocol department who are required to performs duties on off days and Sundays’ on roaster basis.
It also approved the posting of Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed, Commissioner SMC as Secretary, General Administration Department upon the superannuation of Mr. M.S. Khan w.e.f. January 31st2012. Mr. Baseer Ahmed Khan, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar will hold additional charge of the post of Commissioner SMC, Srinagar till further orders. While as Mr. Bashir Ahmed Ruinyal Commissioner /Secretary, Technical Education will hold the additional charge of the post of Commissioner /Secretary Revenue department upon the superannuation of Kachoo Isfandiyar Khan w.e.f January 31st till further orders.
