JAMMU, APRIL 30: Border Security Force today eliminated a Pakistani intruder when he tried to sneak into Indian Territory after crossing the fence along Indo-Pak international border in Samba district.”A Pakistani intruder wearing Green clothes this morning at around 0830 hrs crossed the International Border at Border Pillar No 189 near BoP Chillayari of BSF and came about 20 meters inside the Indian territory and reached near the fence,” official spokesperson here said.He said inspite of warning, he did not stop and was fired by the BSF jawan of 9 Bn and got killed. On searching the body, the spokesperson said, three identity cards were recovered which established his identity as Amanat Ali and resident of Sarya Post Office, Rambri, Shakargarh, district Narowal, Pakistan.”Body of intruder which was retrieved by the BSF was handed over to Police for further course of action,” he said, adding that the post-mortem was conducted at District Hospital Samba and the body was kept at Mortuary so that matter would again be taken up with Pakistani Rangers by BSF tomorrow for handing over to them.A case FIR No. 29/2015 u/s 14 Foreigners Act, Section 3(3) EIIPA stands registered at Police Station Ghagwal for further investigation, said the spokesperson.
