BOSE issues date sheet for Class 10th, 12th annual examination

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 23: The State Board of School Education (BOSE) today issued the formal date sheet for the conduct of class 10th and 12th annual examination of Kashmir division, excluding district Kargil.

As per the notification issued by BOSE in this regard, the annual examination for Class 10th will begin on 15 November 2016 and conclude on 28 November 2016 while for Class 12th the examination will begin on 14 November 2016 and conclude on 3 December 2016.

Pertinently, the BOSE has deferred the conduct of these examinations by almost 45 days keeping in view the prevailing situation in Kashmir. As per the earlier schedule these examinations were to be conducted in the first week of October 2016.

“We have to complete the process of conduct of examination and declaration of results by the end of this year so that the students are well prepared to appear in competitive examinations like CET, NEET, JEE etc next academic session,” an official of the State’s Education Department said.
