Body of 6 year old girl found in north Kashmir

Srinagar: Body of a 6-year-old girl was found near a school in the frontier district of Kupwara triggered protests.
Police said a case of murder has been registered and massive hunt launched to arrest the culprits.
Official sources today said hundreds of people took to streets this morning at Tikker in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara after body of Ishra Shafi was found near Government Middle School in the area late last night.
The girl was missing from her house and family members along with the neighbours searched for her till late in the night.
The body was found at 2130 hrs last night.
The demonstrators are demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the crime.
The cause of her death was not known, they said adding senior police and civil officers of the district have rushed to the area.
