Bengaluru, Oct 28 Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramiah on Saturday said that the BJP is attempting Operation Kamala to destabalise Congress government, but will not be successful.
The statement comes in the wake of Congress MLA Ravikumar Gowda’s statement that a team which removed the Congress-JDS government are working to lure Congress legislators with Rs 50 crore each to topple Siddaramaiah’s government.
Gowda also claimed four legislators have been contacted and a minister’s post has been assured. “Evidence in this regard will be shared soon,” he added.
Siddaramaiah said that the BJP will never succeed in staging Operation Kamala on Congress legislators.
Gowda had also alleged involvement of ex-PA of BJP leader BS Yediyurappa to lure Congress legislators.
Gowda also had claimed that Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will become chief minister replacing Siddaramaiah after 2.5 years of his tenure as the chief minister.
