Srinagar, May 21: The BJP Srinagar District team, led by District President Ashok Bhat, held a significant protest today against the District Administration Shopian. The protest was sparked by the administration’s neglect in safeguarding BJP leader and former Sarpanch Aijaz Ahmed Sheikh, who was tragically killed by terrorists a few days ago. The demonstration took place outside the BJP District Srinagar office located at Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.

In a statement issued to the Kashmir Media Watch, The BJP is demanding a time-bound inquiry into the District Administration Shopian’s failure to prevent this incident. The party believes that the administration’s negligence led to the untimely death of Aijaz Ahmed Sheikh, and they are calling for accountability and justice.
