Mainpuri (UP), Nov 29  Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that it’s up to the Election Commission to see that how free and fair elections are held for Mainpuri Lok Sabha seats as officers are holding meetings with senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to chalk out a strategy to affect the by-poll.
Talking to the reporters after addressing a Prabudhh Jan Sammelan, Akhilesh alleged that it is being discussed on a messaging app that which officer should be deployed where. “I have to go to Rampur as the police there have crossed all the limits of atrocities,” he said.
He said that the public is with SP and it will expose all the lies of BJP. “We should not expect BJP to be fair, none of its deeds is fair. They are liars and indulge in the politics of lies. BJP leaders do not talk about the issues. They can’t see unemployment, inflation and a hike in rates of electricity,” he said.

Akhilesh said that Mainpuri had been the Karma Sthali (workplace) of Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) and he did a lot for the development of the district. Today the intellectual people of Mainpuri have given me their blessings and with the blessings of the people here Dimple Yadav will win with a huge margin,” he said.
