Kastigarh: BJP is communalizing the situation in the erstwhile Doda district for petty political gains which is detrimental for the secular character of this sub-region, said Devender Singh Rana Political Advisor to the Chief Minister while addressing workers meeting at Kastigar h here today.
“BJP is trying to divide the society on communal lines by creating a fear psychosis”, he said and warned the BJP not to disturb the secular fabric of the area, he emphasized that Doda is an epitome of secularism and it has to be preserved as such.
“Doda represents pluralistic ethos, cultural diversity and communal harmony and brotherhood and the J&K National Conference will not allow the communal traits of BJP to flourish either in this sub-region or in any part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir”, said Rana.
Rana said BJP in the state is a rudderless ship with a confused leadership whose cadre is disgruntled, disillusioned and disheartened with the conduct of its leaders and is desperately looking for a political space outside the BJP because they see no future for the BJP in the state as also no future for themselves within the BJP.
Criticizing the BJP for wedging apart the society in the name of region and religion, Rana said that there are now no taker for such politics especially under the present scenario of awareness, education and accelerated development. He said politics of hatred and regional bias has no legs to stand upon.
He cautioned the people of the nefarious designs of the BJP aimed at dividing the society in the name of region, religion, creed and caste and urged them to isolate them and defeat their machinations which have always proved counterproductive to the welfare of the people of the state.
Rana said the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has a vision for the progress and prosperity of the state and the state coalition government under his leadership has taken historical visionary steps for the development and welfare of the people of the state.
Rana urged the party workers to strengthen the bond of coalition because this coalition is based on ideological synergy and is committed to the welfare of the people of the state.
