Aziz, Khurshid discuss LoC ceasefire violations, bilateral issues

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister’s advisor on foreign affairs and national security Sartaj Aziz met with Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on the sidelines of the Asia-Europe Foreign Ministers’ meet here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Aziz and Khurshid discussed ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) along with other bilateral issues. Aziz who is on a four day visit to India had earlier stated that Pakistan wants an end to ceasefire violations.
The top foreign affairs diplomats of the two countries last met in New York during the meeting of Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Manmohan Singh on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.
