He condemned the brute police action which left resistance leader Engineer Hilal War’s brother Jameel War (Pro freedom Activists) injured. “Even journalist Aijaz War was hit with batons.”

MeA patron said Kashmir has been turned into a “police State”.

“Recently Kashmiri drivers, who facilitate tourists, were injured when CRPF men beat them up at Pahalgam and damaged their vehicles. What is the rationale behind this?” he asked.

Inqilabi said MeA considers Martyr Maqbool Bhat as centre of the struggle. “Kashmir resistance movement revolves around his name. We have adopted this policy to strengthen the fort of resistance.”

Commenting on Pakistan’s role in Kashmir issue, he said “Pakistan always supported our cause.”

“But it is also a truth that when friends got UJC split into two in 1991, a fratricidal commotion started in Kashmir.”

He said then Hurriyat conference came into being in 1993 to end the commotion.

“We are yet to understand, what made Musharraf (then Pak President) to leave Geelani and take Mirwaiz Umar along,” he said.

“Are Kashmir resistance leaders, who have spent their life in jails, employees of Pakistan establishment,” he asked.

Inqilabi urged Pakistani leadership to reconsider their K-policy and take “considerable steps” to resolve the Kashmir issue.
He asked leadership and people of Pakistan Administered Kashmir to support the struggle. “It is imperative for them to show solidarity with their oppressed brethren here.”

MeA patron said if some Muslim countries will cut their business ties with India “it will reduce human rights violations in Kashmir.”

“Even if as a mark of protest, some senior police officers will tender their resignation, it will act as deterrent against human rights violation,” he added.

Inqilabi said resolution of Kashmir dispute is must for peace in the sub-continent.

“For that demilitarization, demolition of Loc, end to human rights abuses, release of political prisoners and installation of democratically elected parliament in united-Kashmir is must,” he said.

This he said will pave way for the Kashmiris to decide “whether to opt for independence or have some administrative links with either India or Pakistan.”

Meanwhile MeA spokesman condemned the police action in Sopore during which many shopkeepers were beaten-up by police. MeA senior leader Shafi Lara’s son also got injured in the police action.
