SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) a flagship programme of the Election Commission of India to promote voter education and participation in elections in association with All Sikh Minority Employees Association/ALL Employees Joint Association Kashmir held a massive Rally at BK Pora Budgam this Morning to promote voter education and Participation in Elections.
Jugmeet Kaur Bali, President AEJAK applauded the initiative of SVEEP Flagship Programme of Election Commission of India and hoped that all the citizens of our great country would vote to further strengthen the roots of democracy.
Jugmeet Kaur Bali termed voting as heart of democracy and urged one and all to vote especially Government employees so that India becomes a democratic global super power.
She observed that India is one of the largest democracies in the world. The notion ‘Government of the people, by the people and for the people’ holds true only when the entire nation participates in the election process.
