Arms ammunition recovered in Baramulla

Srinagar April 07 (KMW): Police along with army on a specific information recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition in Kreeri area of Baramulla District last evening.
On a tip off, Baramulla police along with 29-RR launched a search operation at Sheikhpora Kreeri in district Baramulla. During the search a huge quantity of arms and ammunition which includes an AK rifle, 07 AK magazines, 100 AK rounds, 01 Pistol, 01 Pistol Magazines, 01 Radio Set, 02 Antenna Radio Set, 01 IED Circuit, 02 IED Switch, 03 mines, 02 plastic cap mines and 04 UBGL grenades were recovered from an orchard at Sheikhpora, in the jurisdiction of police station Kreeri.
Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
