Srinagar, Jan 19: Paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Gawkadal on their 25th martyrdom anniversary, the APHC (M) spokesman today said that the blood of martyrs was the priceless asset with the Kashmiris. He further said the sacrifices offered by Kashmiris have internationalized the Kashmir cause and brought the attention of world towards the lingering dispute.

Despite passing of 25 years, the spokesman said not a single trooper involved in the Gawkadal massacre has been convicted or put behind the bars for committing crime against the humanity. He said that the demands of impartial probe into the massacre by an independent investigation organization too have not been met so far.
