Srinagar, Jan 03: The J&K Awami National Conference will observe the 16th death anniversary of former Chief Minister Khawaja G.M. Shah on 6th January 2025 (Monday).

In a statement issued to the Kashmir Media Watch, The observance will begin with Fateha Khawani at the late leader’s mausoleum in his ancestral graveyard at Ziyarat Syed Mantaqi (RA) in Chattabal at 11:00 AM. Party affiliates and the general public will gather to offer prayers and Fateha for the departed soul.

Following the prayers, a roundtable conference will be organized at Hotel Shahenshah at 2 PM. During the conference, discussions will highlight Khawaja G.M. Shah’s illustrious life, his contributions and the rich history of Jammu and Kashmir & the events that have surpassed. The conference will witness the participation of invited political leaders, social activists & media fraternity.
