ANC greets people on Eid, Calls for release of political prisoners

Srinagar : While felicitating the people of Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-fitr, Senior Vice-President Awami National Conference, Muzafar Ahmad Shah and Begum Khalida Shah, president of Awami National Conference, have expressed the hope that this auspicious occasion will usher an era of peace & prosperity in the state.
The ANC Leadership has also urged upon the state government to release all the political prisoners and urged upon the government of India to initiate wide ranging measures so as to solve the vexed issue of Kashmir.
