Amar Ujala scribe commits suicide in Srinagar

Srinagar: A scribe working with a national Hindi daily ‘Amar Ujala’ allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself here today.

Ashok Razdan, working for the daily for the past several years in Kashmir, was found hanging at his rented accommodation in Sonawar area of the city this morning, official sources said.

It was not immediately clear why he took this extreme step, they said adding the police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
