Srinagar, Feb 25: With the Bharitya Janata Partry (BJP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday formally announced alliance for government formation in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP’s top leaders are scheduled to hold crucial meeting tomorrow in Jammu to give a go-ahead to the government formation.
“The BJP’s state leadership will meet tomorrow in Jammu to take major decisions on government formation including the role of MLA’s in the government.” BJP’s state general secretary organizations Ashok Koul told News agency.
Meanwhile BJP sources told news agency that, a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary board will also be held in New Delhi on28 February.“The Parliamentary board meeting will be held on 28 February in New Delhi which will be attended by the BJP top brass including the Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Sources told agency.
Sources further said that Prime Minister Modi will meet all of those to be sworn in, over tea and is expected to deliver a pep talk before they will sworn in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
The list of new ministers is expected to balance regional aspirations and electoral considerations, Sources said and added that BJP is set to get more ministers.
Meanwhile PDP sources told that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who is going to be the next Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, will fly New Delhi tomorrow and is scheduled to meet Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Friday.
This much awaited meeting on February 27 is the follow-up of the meeting of PDP president Mehbooba Mufti with BJP president Amit Shah and BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav at New Delhi.
One of the PDP leaders told agency that all modalities of new coalition government including date of swearing in ceremony and cabinet share of both the parties would be finalized only after the meeting of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Prime Minister. “Everything will be finalized during Mufti-Modi meeting on Friday”, sources in the PDP said and added that Common Minimum Program (CMP) will also be made public before the Oath Ceremony.
It is to mention here that on Tuesday, Mehbooba Mufti met BJP president Amit Shah at New Delhi and both the party chiefs made the announcement about the formation of the popular alliance government in the state.

Meanwhile, there was an atmosphere of celebration at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday where workers distributed the sweets ahead of the BJP PDP government.
