MURREE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif has announced to nominate National Party leader Abdul Malik Baloch as its candidate for chief minister post in Balochistan.
Talking to media following a meeting here on Sunday, Nawaz Sharif said that the next Balochistan governor would be from Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party.
The PML-N chief said the government in Balochistan will be transparent and promote merit and good governance in the province. He said PML-N has displayed a spirit of sacrifice for the greater interest of the country.
“We have always talked about creating stability in Balochistan and ending the violence there. Today is the day of celebration for all those parties who talk about rule of law and supremacy of the constitution and have fought against the forces of tyranny and dictatorship,” he added.
Earlier, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting to deliberate on naming the Balochistan Chief Minister. Awami Party leader Mir Hasil Bezinjo and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai were also present in the meeting.
