9 killed in AP mishaps

Hyderabad, Sep 6 (KMW): At least nine persons were killed and an equal number injured in two road accidents at Krishna and Anantapur Districts in Andhra Pradesh today.

At least four persons were killed and six injured after a speeding Volvo Bus hit a stationary lorry at Chilmathur Mandal on Andhra-Karnataka Border in Anantapur District.

Police here said the accident occurred when the bus was proceeding to Bangalore from Hyderabad.
