7 Pakistani soldiers killed at LoC; ‘Threat to peace’, says Islamabad

Islamabad, Nov 14 : Seven soldiers embraced martyrdom in unprovoked firing of Indian forces across the Line of Control at Bhimber sector late last night.

In a statement ISPR said the Pakistani troops effectively targeted the Indian posts while responding to the unprovoked firing.

According to sources, the Indian side also suffered major Casualties as a result of Pakistan’s retaliatory fire.

In a statement, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Pakistani troops are giving befitting response to the Indian provocation and aggression on the line of control.

She said the entire Pakistani nation stands behind their valiant soldiers.

Defense analysts have condemned the recent Indian aggression saying it is resorting to such acts to deflect world attention from ongoing atrocities in occupied Kashmir. They said India also wants to divert Pakistan’s attention from pursuing the development agenda including the swift implementation of multi billion dollars China Pakistan economic corridor project.

They said that the world community should take notice of the Indian belligerence as any break out of conflict between the two nuclear countries will not augur well for the peace and stability of the region.
