Iconic Resistance Leader , Syed Ali Shah Geelani is no more

Srinagar, September 1: Syed Ali Shah Geelani the top most face of Kashmir freedom Movement and an iconic face resistance movement in Jammu and Kashmir has passed away at his residence in Srinagar.
He was born on 29 September 1929 and was a staunch pro-Pakistan separatist leader.
He was previously a member of Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir but later on founded Tehreek-e-Hurriyat . He has served as the chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, a conglomerate of pro separatist parties in Jammu and Kashmir.
