3 Persons died, 2 injured in car accident in Basohli

KATHUA, JULY 10(KMW):Three persons died and 2 persons were injured in a tragic road accident at village Manu in tehsil Basohli.
After receiving the news of tragic accident at village Manu, DC Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal alongwith tehsil administration rushed to the spot.
The ill fated Car fell into deep gorge near village Mahnu few kilometrs from Ranjit Sagar Dam in which three persons died on spot and two others were injured. The injured were admitted to Mahanpur hospital.
DC alongwith SDM Basohli, SDPO Basohli, Tehsildar Mahanpur visited the Trauma centre Mahanpur where two injured were admitted and enquired about their status of health. He asked the hospital authorities to shift the injured to District Hospital Kathua for further treatment.
Later, DDC Kathua also visited the site at Mahanpur where construction work of college is going on and directed the executing agency to complete the construction work in time bound manner and strict instructions were given to maintain quality work.
