Jodhpur, Nov 8(KMW): A group of 23 girls and two teachers from from the remote areas of Noushera tehshil of Kashmir valley today undertook an educational tour to this Sun City.
The trip organised by the 33 Rastriya Rifles as part of the ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ is meant to provide an exposure to the children from remote bordering areas, on development in the national mainstream.
The group visited Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Chamunda Temple in Mehrangarh and Mandore Garden. Besides Jodhpur, the tour itinerary also included visit to historical places in Ajmer and Jaisalmer, a defence spokesman said.
