1982 new COVID cases in J&K, 07 deaths; 411052 recovered so far

04 Deaths,808 new positive cases in J&K

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 03: The Government today informed that 1982 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 694 from Jammu division and 1288 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 442462. Also, 07 Covid deaths have been reported; 05from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 5093 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1554 from Jammu Division and 3539 from Kashmir Division.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.

On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 48836 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,06,29,082.

The Bulletin further said that out of 21639895 test results available, 442462 samples have tested positive and 21197433 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 78,473 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.

Till date 5828729 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29593 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 26712 in isolation and 431127 in home surveillance. Besides, 5336599 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 413 cases, Baramulla reported 253 cases, Budgam reported 116 cases, Pulwama reported 44 cases, Kupwara reported 230 cases, Anantnag reported 71 cases, Bandipora reported 56 cases, Ganderbal reported 44 cases, Kulgam reported 47 cases while as Shopian reported 14 fresh cases for today.
