187 Battalion CRPF organises free medical camp at Village Dudu

UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 04: 187 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force organized a free medical camp under its Civic Action Programme at its Dudu Camp.

The camp, held under the supervision of Commandant Mohammad Sazid, was aimed at to provide essential healthcare services to the rural populace.

As many as 250 residents, including men, women and children from Dudu and nearby villages of Lapa, Gharkatiyas, Padher, and Kirchi, benefited from the camp. The attendees received free medical check-ups and medicines, ensuring necessary healthcare support for the underserved communities.

The medical camp was conducted with the assistance of Dr. Manish Rundla, Medical Officer of 137 Bn CRPF, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Medical Officer Dudu, and the paramedical staff of 187 Bn CRPF. Their dedicated efforts contributed significantly to the success of the initiative.The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including G.S. Bora, 2-I/C, Tanzin Samtan, A/C 187 Bn CRPF, former PRI members and local public of the area .

While addressing the gathering, the Commandant reaffirmed CRPF’s commitment to serving the local population. He highlighted the force’s various social outreach programs designed to foster stronger community ties and enhance rural welfare. He emphasized that while CRPF is actively engaged in operational duties across the nation, it also undertakes initiatives focused on the social and human development of rural communities. Such efforts aim to empower residents, encouraging them to become responsible citizens contributing to national progress.

The Commandant also expressed gratitude to the dignitaries present and announced that similar medical camps would be organized in CRPF’s deployment areas in the future, in accordance with Government of India directives. The initiative was met with great enthusiasm from the local population, who expressed joy and appreciation upon receiving free medical assistance and medicines.
