Islamabad: Unidentified armed men opened fire at a bus at Kohistan in northern Pakistan today, killing 18 people and injuring seven others.
The bus was going from Gilgit to Rawalpindi when it was attacked by the gunmen in Kohistan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province this morning.
This was the first ever attack in the remote area.
Eighteen people were killed and seven others were injured, some of them seriously, Geo News channel quoted police officials as saying.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack. The motive for the attack could not immediately be ascertained. (KMW NEWS)
