JAMMU, APRIL 07: The Government on Wednesday informed that 812 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 347 from Jammu division and 465 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 134827. Also 06 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 04 from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 254 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 62 from Jammu Division and 192 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 134827 positive cases, 5035 are Active Positive, 127774 have recovered and 2018have died; 745 in Jammu division and 1273 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 6329888test results available, 6195061 samples have been tested as negative till 07thApril, 2021.
Till date 1566425 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 60002 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 5035 in isolation and 123282in home surveillance. Besides, 1376088 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 30409 positive cases (including 239 cases reported today) with 1817 Active Positive, 28115recovered (including 89 cases recovered today), 477 deaths; Baramulla has 9362 positive cases (including 78 cases reported today)with 665Active Positive, 8516recovered (including 40 cases recovered today), 181 deaths; Budgam reported 8493 positive cases (including 42 cases reported today)with 361 active positive cases, 8010 recovered (including 15cases recovered today), 122 deaths; Pulwama has 6050 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today)with 121 Active Positive, 5837 recovered and 92 deaths; Kupwara has 5906 positive cases (including 23 cases reported today), 113 Active Positive, 5696recoveries (including 30 cases recovered today), 97 deaths; Anantnag district has 5283 positive cases (including 27 cases reported today)with 19 Active Positive, 50628 recovered (including 06 cases recovered today), 96 deaths; Bandipora has 4841 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today), with94 Active Positive and 4684 recoveries, 63 deaths; Ganderbal has 4773 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today)with 70 Active Positive, 4654 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today)and49deaths; Kulgam has 2970 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today)with 198 Active Positive, 2716 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today)and 56 deaths while as Shopian has 2687 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today),47 active positive cases, 2600 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today)and 40 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has 26530 positive cases (including 138 cases reported today) with 874 active positive cases, 25270recoveries (including 42 cases recovered today), 386 deaths; Udhampur has 4508 positive cases (including 79 cases reported today), 162active positive cases, 4288 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today)and58 deaths; Rajouri has 3928 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today)with 41 active positive, 3831 recoveries and 56 deaths; Doda has 3478 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today)with23 Active positive, 3391 recovered and 64 deaths; Kathua has 3444 positive cases (including 29 cases reported today), 109 active positive cases, 3282 recovered(including 10 cases recovered today) and 53 deaths; Kishtwar has 2766 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today)with 10 Active Positive, 2734 recoveriesand22 deaths; Samba has 2900 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today)with 51 active positive cases, 2808 recoveries and 41 deaths; Poonch has 2567 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today)with 30 active positive, 2511recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today)and 26 deaths; Ramban has 2169 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today) with 27 active positive cases, 2119 recoveries and 23 deaths while Reasi has 1763 positive (including 62 cases reported today)with 103 active positive cases, 1644 recoveries and 16 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 134827 positive cases in J&K, 14201 have been reported as travelers while 120626 as others.
