02 die, 09 injured in road accidents

Srinagar October, 25: Two persons died while nine others were injured in different road accidents in the valley.

A Tractor bearing registration number JK03C-7525 skidded off the road at Zisnard in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in on spot death of one commuter namely Amir Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Nabi Shah resident of Batapora Larnoo and injuries to Reyaz Ahmad Magray, Gulzar Ahmad Baba and Janib Ahmad Baba residents of Larnoo. All the injured persons were shifted to PHC Larnoo for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.

Meanwhile, an Alto car bearing registration number HR-32-B-5347 hit and injured a pedestrian Mst Sara Begum resident of Shumhal Ashmuqam at Ashmuqam. The injured was shifted to PHC Ashmuqam for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.

In Baramulla, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Ahmad Rather resident of Dondora at Dondura in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pattan. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pattan for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.

In Awantipora, a Swift car bearing registration number JK01W-6197 driven by Showket Ahmad Mugloo resident of Khwaja Bazar, Srinagar collided with a Scooty bearing registration number JK01V-5936 driven by Suhail Ahmad Pandit resident of Haftchinar, Srinagar at Jawbara Awantipora, resulting in injuries to Scooty driver and pillion mate Rayees Ahmad Dar resident of Baghat Barzulla, Srinagar. Both the injured were shifted to PHC Awantipora for treatment where from Scooty driver has been referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kulgam, a Truck bearing registration number JK18-2618 driven by Nisar Ahmad Khan resident of Gudder Kulgam skidded off the road on National Highway near Zig Point in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qazigund, resulting in injuries to Bilal Ahmad Chowhan and Shahnawaz Ahmad Bahroo residents of Kulgam. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Srinagar, a lady Fahmeeda wife of Mohammad Maqbool Dar resident of Natipora fell from an unknown Motorcycle at Jawahar Nagar in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh, resulting in injuries to the lady. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a casein this regard.
