02 die, 03 injured in road accidents

Srinagar 02 March: Two persons died while three others were injured in three different road accidents in the valley.
In Ganderbal, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01R-3579 driven by Imran Nazir Khan resident of Malpora hit and injured a pedestrian girl Tamana daughter of Zakir Salman resident of Maglo Bijnoor (UP) (at present Kurhama) at Bypass Kurhama in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kheerbhawani. The injured girl was shifted to Sub District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.
In Sopore, an Alto car bearing registration number JK01J-9629 collided with a motorcycle at Nadihal Sopore, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Ayaz Ahmad Sofi son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Chackla, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
In Budgam, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01T-1949 driven by Suhail Reyaz Khan resident of Elahi Bagh Srinagar along with pillion Umar Nazir Halwai resident of Chota Bazar collided with a Scooty driven by Suhail Manzoor resident of Chadoora at petrol pump in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chadoora, resulting in injuries to all the three persons. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Chadoora for treatment where from Suhail Manzoor was referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
