01 dies, 03 injured in road accidents

Srinagar November, 14(KMW): One person died while three others were injured in two separate road accidents in Budgam and Handwara.
In Budgam, a Scotty collided with an unknown vehicle at Machoowa in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chadoora, resulting in injuries to three persons Kifayat Hassan Sheikh resident of Dardpora Kupwara, Azhar Manzoor resident of Natipora and Suhail Rafiq son of Mohammad Rafiq Ganaie resident of Kralpora. All the injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment where one of the injured Suhail Rafiq succumbed to his injuries. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Handwara, a Wagon-R car bearing registration number JK02BC-5368 hit and injured a pedestrian girl Insha Rasool resident of Gotangoo Karihama at Karihama in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
