Doda, May 24:  In order to inculcate art and craft spirit among the students, an engaging and creative Art and Craft Workshop was successfully held at the Higher Secondary School (HSS) Halaran. This inspiring event was organized by a guest team from the renowned Vishwagram Trust, Gujarat, in collaboration with the Chief Education Office Doda, under the esteemed patronage of the District Magistrate Doda.

The workshop aimed to foster creativity and artistic skills among students, providing them with a platform to explore various art forms and crafts. The team  emphasized the importance of integrating arts into the educational curriculum to promote holistic development among students.

The guest team from Vishwagram Trust brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise, guiding the students through a series of interactive sessions. These included demonstrations and hands-on activities in painting, sculpture, pottery, and traditional crafts. The students displayed great enthusiasm and participated actively, showcasing their talents and gaining valuable insights into different art techniques.

The Chief Education Office Doda played a crucial role in coordinating the event, ensuring that the workshop ran smoothly and was accessible to all interested students. Teachers and staff from HSS Halaran also contributed significantly, providing support and encouragement to the young artists.

The success of this workshop highlights the importance of collaborative efforts in enhancing educational experiences. The District Magistrate commended the Vishwagram Trust for their dedication to student development and for bringing such enriching experiences to the region.

The workshop concluded with a vibrant exhibition of the students’ works, which was attended by parents, teachers, and local community members. The displayed art pieces received much admiration, reflecting the skills and creativity nurtured during the workshop.

This Art and Craft Workshop not only enriched the students’ artistic abilities but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration, leaving a lasting impact on all participants. The event brought positive outcomes that arise when educational institutions and community organizations work together towards a common goal. The programme was coordinated under the supervision of Nighat Naaz ZICC Bhatyas whereas the guest team member laid thrust on the Gandhian philosophy.

The incharge principal, staff members and students thanked the team for their services and also they thanked ZICC Nighat Naz for organising such programs in their schools  as such programs are enhancing the confidence level of students in their personal life also.
