Union Expenditure Secretary calls on Governor

SRINAGAR, JUNE 24(KMW): Mr. Ratan P. Watal, Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, called on Mr. N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan today.
The Governor and Mr. Watal held extensive discussions over issues relating to provision of adequate financial support for alleviating the difficulties faced by the flood affected population. They also discussed the areas and schemes which merit being fully provided for under the Prime Minister’s Reconstruction Programme (III) and the need for effective enforcement of fiscal discipline.
