Two killed, five injured in bus accident in J&K

Jammu, Jun 9 (KMW): Two persons died and five others got injured when the minibus they were traveling in turned turtle in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, police said here today.

The incident occurred last evening when the minibus, on its way to Kakryal from Katra in Reasi district, turned turtle near Chak Bhagta due to rash driving, they said.

The victims, identified as Prabhu Dayal (60) and Anil (17), died on the spot and five others got injured, they said adding that the injured were rushed to hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the minibus fled the scene after the incident, police said, adding that a case was registered and investigation has begun.
