Kupwara, June 1: Contradicting the claims made by Indian Army that it killed three militants while they were trying to infiltrate into Kashmir Valley in Tandgar sector of frontier district Kupwara, militant outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad Monday made it clear that it was not an infiltration bid but a well-planned attack on Indian army.
Pertinently, the army on Sunday said that it foiled an infiltration bid by killing three militants near Tangdhar sector in frontier district of Kupwara.
A caller Muhammad Hassan, who identified himself as the operational spokesperson of militant outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad told CNS that group of militants attacked Indian army near Kalsuri ridge in Tangdar sector of Kupwara sector in which number of Indian soldiers got either killed or injured. “The group of militants was not trying to infiltrate but was already present in Valley. This group attacked in a planned manner and created panic among Indian army and their supporters. After the attack all the militants managed to reach at their safe destination,” he said.
The spokesperson added that such attacks on the Indian army will continue in future as well.
