Srinagar-Jammu highway reopens for both ways

Srinagar: The 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway was reopened for both ways today.

A traffic police official said that passenger vehicles were being allowed from Srinagar and Jammu this morning.

However vehicles from Jammu would have to cross Udhampur by 0900 hours.

Similarly, vehicles from Srinagar have to cross Qazigund before 0900 hours.

He said no heavy vehicle will be allowed from jammu or Srinagar today. (KMW News)
