New Delhi, Mar 3 Former Congress president and United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday following fever.
Dr D S Rana , Chairman , Trust Society of the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in a statement on Friday said, “Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson UPA, has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital under Dr Arup Basu , Sr Consultant Department of Chest Medicine and his team on March 2
on account of fever.”
“She is undergoing observation and investigations and her condition is stable,” Dr Rana said.
Earlier on January 4, the former chief of the Congress was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for observation and treatment of a viral respiratory infection” , and discharged after few days.
