Shopian Encounter : Three militants killed

Srinagar, March 28:Three militants have been killed after nocturnal gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Yarwan area of Keller in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.

A senior Police officer told news agency that three militants have been killed so far, however searches are on to see if there is anymore body.

Officer further said that it was a hideout where militants were hiding.

militants killed in Yawran Keller area have been identified as Aaqib Ahmad from Bhatnoora Lassipora Pulwama, Basharat Ahmad from Wasoora Pulwama, and Sajad Khanday from Bamnoo Keller shopian.
