Shameema reviews pace of progress in Habba Kadal

SRINAGAR: The Chairperson, Women’s Development Commission and MLA Habba Kadal, Ms. Shameema Firdous today visited Ganpatyar, Habba Kadal and Malyar and took stock of the development works being executed in the area.
She also visited under construction Lal Ded Memorial Museum for which Tourism department has released Rs. 35 lakhs. The Museum, first of its nature in Shari Khas, will have a photo gallery and library revealing the culture ethos and heritage of Kashmir. The Museum will be developed as a tourist attraction.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Shameema Firdous said that a shopping complex will also be constructing near the Museum to provide employment avenues in the area.
Responding to the public demands, Ms. Shameema said that a Tube Well will be constructed at Ganpatyar which will improve the water supply facility in the area. She also assured the people that their other genuine demands will be looked into sympathetically.
Director Tourism, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah and other concerned officers were present on the occasion. (KMW News)
