PM likely to address election rally in Srinagar on Nov 27

Srinagar, Nov 17 : The Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is scheduled to address election rally in Kishtwar on November 22, is also likely to address a poll rally in Srinagar on November 27.
A top party leader Monday told  that Modi is likely to address election rally in Srinagar on 27th of this month. “Modi who is scheduled to address a public rally in Kishtwar on 22 November is also likely to address election rally here to raise the morale of the BJP’s contesting candidates,” sources said and added that the party Chief Amit Shah and a host of other top leaders, including Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Sushma Savraj are also expected to address the election rallies.
They added that the top party leaders held meetings in Delhi, to chalk out the final plans of Modi and other leaders campaigning in Kashmir in the coming days. “Final touches are being given to the campaign plan which will be cleared by the Party within two days, sources said.
The BJP is banking on Modi wave as this is the first time that the party is fighting in majority of the seats. “The party is focusing on the development model and the Prime Minister in his election rallies will woo the electorate with the promise of initiating all-round development evenly across the Jammu and Kashmir and providing good governance,” sources said.
Bhartiya Janta Party is contesting elections alone and is eyeing 44+ seats in the state with specific focus on all 25 assembly constituencies in the Jammu region where it had maintained a lead in May Lok Sabha elections. There are 37 assembly seats in the Jammu region and the party wants to maximize gains there. In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won Jammu, Ladakh and Udhampur seats, which comprise 41 assembly segments. The tenure of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly ends on January 19 next year. The elections will be held in five phase for the 87-member House starting from November 25.
Meanwhile talking to KNS BJP’s MP and JK affairs in charge Avinash Rai Khani alleged that the NC, PDP and Congress rule have been terrible for JK. “Those ruined five years have raised a question mark on the state’s progress,” he said and added that the BJP will never ignore the Jammu and Kashmir state.
