Man held with 27 Kgs of Charas in Awantipora :Police

Srinagar September 27: Awantipora police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered a huge quantity of charas from his possession.
Acting on a specific information, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Awantipora apprehended a man identified as Shabir Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Akram resident of Astan Mohalla Panzgam Awantipora at Astan Mohalla, Awantipora. On his checking police recovered 27 Kilograms of Charas. A case FIR number 178/2016 under section 20/8 NDPS act has been registered against him and further investigation has been taken up.
