Lal Singh pays surprise visit to JLNM hospital

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 5:- Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings, Choudhary Lal Singh today conducted surprise inspection visit to JLNM Hospital, Rainawari, Srinagar.
The surprise check was conducted to review the healthcare facilities being provided at the hospital.
Director General ISM Dr. Kabir, Director, Health Services, Kashmir , Dr Sameer Mattoo, besides other health official accompanied the Minister.
During his surprise visit, Mr Singh directed the medicos and paramedics to remain present in the hospital as per duty roaster and provide round the clock healthcare facilities to the people. He said aim of the government is to provide hassle-free treatment facilities to the patients in the Government health institutions.
Taking serious note of the unnecessary hoardings erected in the hospital premises, the Minister directed the hospital administration to clear the premises and beautify it with up-to date standards.
He said that the Government was considering healthcare as the top priority.
The Minister inspected the healthcare facilities and duty roaster of the medicos and paramedics. He asked them to provide best possible healthcare facilities to the patients and maintain dress code and cleanliness in the hospital.
The Minister inspected the ongoing construction work of additional block of the hospital. He said his aim is to enhance the quality of healthcare provided at the hospitals across the State.
