Jammu, April 30: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha today attended and listened to the special screening of the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in a special function organized at Raj Bhawan Jammu attended by the invitees from different sections of the society across Jammu & Kashmir.
While addressing the invitees, Sinha said, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is the voice of 140 crore countrymen and is deeply rooted in our spiritual & cultural traditions and its ideas & ideals. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ echoes the aspirations, dreams, challenges, successes, failures, resolves and the new beginnings of the people of this country, Sh. Sinha added.
Sinha said, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ since it’s beginning in October 2014, has not only touched every section of the society but has influenced their behavioural change to shape a new social revolution in the country.
Sinha further said, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not only a powerful radio programme but is also a source of inspiration to realize dreams & resolve of the society.
Praising ‘Mann Ki Baat’ as the best dialogue between PM Sh. Narendra Modi and the people of this country, Sh. Sinha said, dialogue is the soul of democracy and the direct communication between a statesman and citizens ensures that the foundation of democracy is strong, participation of citizens in governance is ensured and their voice is at the centre of its policies.
Sinha said, 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a historic moment for the people of this country as every one from every section of society came together to listen to PM Sh. Narendra Modi ‘s wisdom & vision that is guiding India’s developmental journey.
Earlier during the event, Sinha also inaugurated a multimedia exhibition on 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ organized by Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Jammu at Raj Bhawan.
