Kargil, September 12: A “Jan Hit Camp” awareness programme was today organized at Panchayat Ghar Tambis with the participation of local residents and officials from various government departments.

The event was graced by Councillor GM Pore, Syed Ali, and SDM Sankoo, Dr. Sarwar Shahzad who highlighted the importance of such outreach programmes in connecting people with government welfare initiatives.

During the camp, officials from different departments sensitized the public about ongoing schemes, welfare measures, and employment opportunities available in the region. The programme aimed to ensure that the benefits of government initiatives reach grassroots-level beneficiaries effectively.

Around 90 beneficiaries attended the camp, interacted with officials, and received detailed information regarding schemes and services tailored for their socio-economic upliftment.

It was informed that similar “Jan Hit Camps” will also be organized at Tiket and Bhimbhat, Drass on September 13 to further extend awareness and ensure maximum outreach.
