In his address, Prof. Romshoo emphasized that outreach has emerged as a vital vertical of the university, with every department actively engaging with the community, industry, and alumni. This institutionalisation of outreach in the University has enabled IUST to play a transformative role in bridging the gap between the university and key stakeholders such as industry, government, and society. He underlined that meaningful outreach ensures that the university’s knowledge and innovations create tangible impact beyond the campus. Other members also provided constructive feedback on the four verticals Alumni Connect, Community Connect, Industry Connect, and Career Counselling & Placements while proposing strategies to expand the University’s reach and strengthen its impact.
