Infiltration bid foiled in Kupwara, two killed

Srinagar July 24: Two infiltrators were killed while two jawans sustained injuries when security forces foiled an infiltration bid in Tangdar sector in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district

As per reports, a fierce encounter took place between the soldiers and the infiltrators near forward Eagle Post along the Line of Control.

Two AK 47 Rifles, two rucksacks and some other items were reportedly recovered from the spot.

Meanwhile, the army personnel who sustained splinter injuries are currently undergoing treatment.
